My husband and I celebrated the 60th anniversary of our first date with family and friends at DeLorenzo's Pizza last night - because our first date was at DeLorenzo's when they were on Hamilton Avenue in Trenton. The wait staff was friendly, professional and attentive - thanks Zak! And all our guest said " wow, that was very good pizza". Thanks DeLo's for helping us celebrate in style!!!
Great customer service and fast and easy takeout. We ordered the tomato basil special and added hot cherry peppers. So tasty and the crust was perfectly crisp. The second pie was the MSG with no mushrooms. The ingredients are fresh and delicious. Definitely coming back again.
Very brief review. Simply the BEST pizza I have had ANYWHERE (and that's including Italy). That's it.......that's the review. Enjoy - you will not be disappointed.
I was with a friend near her place and she loves it here so I joined her before we headed out for the night. Looks like a family joint, pretty big dining room and open kitchen. The pies are made nice and fresh but we did get to a point looking around wondering if they actually put our order in. This pie wasn't on the menu any longer but my friend remembered it and it's a white pie, ricotta, spinach, broccoli, garlic. Needed a pinch more salt but it was absolutely amazing. I honestly haven't had a white pie in my life that I liked more than this. The bottom of the pie had a crunch, the crust slightly chewy and plenty of toppings. We got a large pie, and each had some to take home. Next morning, that slice was still so incredible. She mentioned on a weekend it can get crowded so be prepared for a slight wait. Pay up front at the cashier.
